Issue #18: Nashville Psych Alliance, FOUND with Heather Allen, Inner-City Gardening, Johnny Cash, A New Podcast Episode + more!

Howdy people! We're back and coming in hot with the jam-packed September issue of the Original Fuzz Magazine! Take a load off, kick your feet up, and step inside this far-out edition of our monthly contribution to the written word.

Inside you'll find our conversation with the fine folks of the Nashville Psych Alliance, a group of creative DIYers determined to keep the wheels churning in the underground psych scene of Music City. We've got an interview with Heather Allen, a photographer who finds creative ways to distort her disposable camera pictures, in our arts column, FOUND. We have a new environmentalism feature on inner-city gardening, and how to make one no matter your living situation. There's a list of the best, and some not-so-talked about, places to visit if you love Johnny Cash. Mark's Mailbag has a new installment in which Mark answers your questions on the subject of football. SEC fans rejoice! There's also another episode of our podcast with special guest DJ Billy Bennett, a Nashville producer and all-around great dude who has worked with MGMT, The Whigs, Los Colognes, Drive-By Truckers, Dead Confederate, and others.

Whew!

Fall's coming. We can feel it in the air. The nights are getting longer and we haven't had to turn on the fan at our shop in a minute. We can't wait to drink mulled wine on the porch and take a breath before the holidays turn us into elves. So, join us in celebrating the last days of summer.

Read on!

Thank you to all of our contributors this month! We couldn't do it without ya: Trent, Anna, and John with the Nashville Psych Alliance, Heather Allen, Robyn Robichaud, Dee Gross, Mark Harrod, Billy Bennett and Lee McAlilly, and Liz Earle. Cover photo by Heather Allen.
