The End

“When I first came to Nashville I was pretty “green” and had no plans of liking it much less STAYING here. I fell in love with The End. It was October of 2008 and I had just stumbled off the Greyhound and immediately met some awesome people who squired me around town because they were bursting with love for this city. I must have gone to a million (at least 10?!) shows and events in the span of two months because I was so excited and hungry for this DIY rock and arts scene I had been introduced to!

The End was specifically a place that I felt drawn to, it was like the cool rock club of my dreams (not to mention the enthralling colorful cast of characters hanging out on Elliston Place, RIP Brad!). You could tell there was a history there, and it made me feel alive and young and excited to be here, like I was a part of a community. This whole city can feel like a wacky little clubhouse at times and I think that’s unique and why people stay. (Let’s preserve that!)”
