“By the time you read this, Sam’s will be torn down–along with most of Hillsboro Village. A great sports bar with above-average pizza, this place was a good stop-off before or after a visit to Cotten Music (which was also recently destroyed and, in New Nashville fashion, rebuilt as a dog-themed sports bar). Sam’s is where I celebrated a few birthdays, met friends for happy hour, and even where I went right after finishing an interview with the police in the driveway of my burglarized home a few blocks over. I miss it.”
