We dedicate this strap to Merge Records on E Chapel Hill St. in Durham, NC. Founded in 1989 by Laura Ballance and Mac McCaughan, Merge started as a way to release music from their band Superchunk. Since then, it has expanded to include artists from around the world and records reaching the top of the Billboard music charts, including Canadian darlings, Arcade Fire and their record Funeral in 2004.
Made with reclaimed vintage fabric in a rainbow-pastel striped pattern, this strap will stand the test of time. We combined these beautifully designed textiles with classic leather end-tabs and rivets. Finished with a soft cotton backing and strong, durable hardware. 2” wide / adjusts up to 65” long.
