Ron Gallo and RG3 Perform

Recent Nashville transplants and our pals, Ron Gallo and the RG3 band, stopped by Adult Swim's studios in Atlanta, GA to give a special in-studio performance and chat about non-things last Thursday.

Learn their thoughts on World Music, magical sounds of the shofar, and other tantalizing subjects, plus catch their performance of "Why Do You Have Kids?" below! Luckily for us, Ron was wearing our Peruvian Guitar Strap in Kurt Vile.

Introducing the Artist Series Guitar Strap in Ultimate Painting by Original Fuzz - Featured Image

Jack Cooper and James Hoare, our favorite London duo known as Ultimate Painting, are back at it again with their newest album, Dusk, out now via Trouble in Mind Records. Following up on their critically-acclaimed sophomore album, Dusk is everything we love about this band. The album is euphoric, jangly, psychedelic pop. It's lyrically impressive and loaded with naturally-addictive piano melodies and guitar hooks.

In celebration of Dusk, we teamed up with our UK pals to bring you the first guitar strap in our Artist Series. We brought the band into the design process to help us develop this strap. It's the first of many collaborations with bands we love.

This handwoven strap, inspired by the album's artwork, features magenta, black, and white cotton in a traditional woven pattern. The textile is woven in North Carolina and sewn at our shop in Nashville. Accompanied by our classic soft-cotton backing, vintage-style hardware and durable leather, this strap is a work of art. 2" wide / adjusts up to 65" long

King Tuff and Mikal Cronin Rocked Fuzz Straps on Colbert with Ty Segall - Featured Image

We were excited to see Kyle Thomas (aka King Tuff) and Mikal Cronin wear their Original Fuzz guitar straps on The Late Show the other night.

They are out with Ty Segall and a powerful band billed as "The Muggers," which also includes Emmett Kelly from the Cairo Gang and Cory Hanson from Wand.  We're gonna catch them on Monday here in Nashville. For now, we'll have to settle for Colbert...

In case you missed this review from last month at Jazz Guitar Online, be sure to check it out. They had some great things to say about our Peruvian guitar strap. Like this:

"For guitarists who are looking for a high-quality strap, made with careful consideration and to the highest standards, as well as having a sturdy construction and cool look, then the Original Fuzz Peruvian Guitar Strap may just be what you’re looking for."

And, if you're interested in jazz playing, be sure to check out their free ebook. They're the best resource around.
