Bruce Springsteen's Keynote at SXSW

Bruce just gave a speech at SXSW that is sure to take up permanent residence in his oeuvre. He gives a brief history of Rock and Roll from his vantage point, sharing how it influenced his development and offering encouragement and inspiration along the way. It's worth every second. Don't think twice about watching the whole thing.

On Elvis:

"Television and Elvis gave us full access to a new language, a new form of communication, a new way of being, a new way of looking, a new way of thinking about sex, about race, about identity, about life — a new way of being an American, a human being. And a new way of hearing music."
